| The Canadian Committee on
History and Computing (CCHC) is a committee of the
Canadian
Historical Association. The mandate of the CCHC is "to encourage
and sustain interest in Canada in the use of computers in all types of
historical studies at all levels, in both teaching and research", particularly
among members of the CHA. The CCHC's mandate covers the four main, sometimes
overlapping areas in which computers can be of use to historians: quantitative
methods; computerized information management; electronic publication, communication
and data dissemination; and computer-assisted pedagogy. |
